About Me

Hello There!

I am a novice Cognitive Neuroscientist, who is on the lookout for better understanding of how neural commotion inspires and shapes human intelligence and memory networks. I like to generate new-fangled concepts/hypothesis and formulate achievable explanations to relevant complications of my near thoughts.

More recently, I have been converging my work to the multidisciplinary realm of cognitive science to conduct research on human memory and emotion network, with an aim to reconnoiter unconscious brain processing utilizing artificial neural network and mixed reality based multi-modal experimental design that are consistent with cognitive theories of how our brain works. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Cochin University of Science and Technology (2008-2012) and I am pursuing Master of Science degree in Applied Cognition and Neuroscience, specializing in cognitive modeling and intelligent system from the UT Dallas - School of behavioral and brain science.

Presently, I work at Virtual Humans and Synthetic Societies Lab at UT Dallas as R&D Programmer and as Graduate Research Assistant, on various research work (including new model fit estimation and selcetion method and analysis of cognitive factor resulting in numerous real life category of human beings) with Dr. Richard Golden.

In my years of professional research and work, I have had the experience of working with vivid topics and technology, including: Participatory design & research, Statistical Research methods, Artificial Neural networks/Machine learning, Mixed Reality(VR/AR), Service oriented computing, Knowledge management, Game development and implementation of Research/Automation tools. I am always interested in learning opportunities that will allow me to use my various skills to dynamically transform and promote cognition based research in the benefits of humanity specifically helping small children’s.

Exploring medical cyberlearning for work at the human/technology frontier with the mixed-reality emotive virtual human system platform

6th IEEE International Conference on Serious Games and Applications for Health 2018 (Paper Accepted, In progress)

A collaborative, distributed mixed-reality and deep learning platform based upon Cognitive and Connectivism theory of learning. Proposed platform explores multiple modalities of data using cognition based computational models of emotion, memory, attention, reinforcement learning and perceptual psychological to transform and dramatically improve conventional learning methods by augmenting students’ and educators’ capabilities in novel ways within a Virtual world during medical communication skills training.

    Contribute to the exploratory study for the creation of an advanced neural network based cognitive framework that will power the research and move the team closer to the goal of creating world-class virtual humans.

    Led a team of programmers to research and develop Neural Network based Natural language processing and Human Action Recognition systems, with compiling data on body language, facial cues, and other physiological information in VR (Oculus, HTC Vive) /AR (Microsoft HoloLens) platforms. All neural networks are developed in-house from scratch.
